H drives and SKYDrive - No More H drive

Account name is: 123456@student.dmschools.org (123456 is code for YOUR 6 digit student ID#)
Password: YOUR school login password.

Create a new folder called (your 1st name's) TR - Upload ALL of your documents to this folder.
I will help you share this folder with me. That is how I will check your work. Thanks


Create a new folder on your desktop called (your 1st name's) TR. Use this as working folder for work.

Download and save User Names and Passwords to your Desktop TR folder
- this links to a file. It will open as "read only". Use "save as" to save to Desktop TR Folder. Type in your skydrive account name and password. Thanks

Insert Change doc.


Complete an information sheet. Save it to your desktop as "your first name's information" (Mine would be Gene's Information.).


Send copy of info sheet to your Advocate and to Gene via new school email.




Styles - Go to this learning style website
Review the description, take the inventory, highlight and copy your results into a word document. Link into the summary and copy and paste the descriptions into the document. Save the document into your skydrive TR folder as YFN's Learning Style YFN (Yep - YFN is still YOUR first name! :-) )

• First paragraph - describe the rule; tell why it should be changed; use specific details/examples
  • Introduction
    • Hook- attention grabber: Ask a question, Use a shocking statistic, riddle
    • Background info on topic
    • Thesis

• Middle or body paragraph - describe the changes you would like to see; suggest an alternative

• Conclusion - sum up your argument effectively
